Pair Mid 18th C. American Copper Candle Lanterns
Presented here, a pair of Copper Lanterns most RARE! One would have been a real find, but a PAIR is unbelievable. Hand formed by a coppersmith with pierced decoration on the top that resembles a maltese cross. These lanterns date to the 2nd half of the 18th century and are in exceptional condition . . . even the original blown globes are intact!

They are 14" tall and measure @ 8" in diameter at the widest part. Quite possibly unique unto themselves because of their rarity, they would be a stellar addition to any serious collection or a wonderful find for someone who appreciates the very best in early lighting.
$3200 the pair
