Multicolored Slip Decorated Redware Plate

STOP! ! !  Do not adjust your monitor.  Those really are the colors on this glorious Redware Plate  most rare.  Truly a keystone piece in any collection!  Multicolored slip decoration in pea green, olive green, and gold, this plate is a delight to the eye.  Measuring 8" in diameter, the plate is in very fine condition with only a minor specks of glaze loss and a couple of flakes on the slightly coggled rim with one being very old, seen at 4 o'clock in the picture and another flake in the pea green decoration on the same band.  In the whole scheme of things it, it really is insignificant in the light of the rarity of the piece.
