Mortar & Pestle in Blue Paint
Presented here, a very nice Mortar in Blue Paint. It stands 7" tall and, as you can see from the pictures, it is not thick blue paint, but it does have good coverage and color. You can even see hints of green close-up which the camera picks up and magnifies. The overall color, however, is blue. I believe the pestle to be original to the piece, and while it is mostly natural in color there are traces of the blue paint at the top in the crease at the top of the handle. While the overall condition is very good, there is a 1-1/2" line from the bottom on the mortar that you can clearly see in the picture, and a line in the interior that is very tight and narrow and does not go through to the outside. There is good wear in all the appropriate places from handling and cleaning and it is good, honest wear.
