Blue Treen Eating Bowl

Typical of the colonial era, this treen eating bowl was turned with a low flat footing, accomplished by the addition of several decorative rings on the flat bottom.  It is slightly out-of round due to age shrinkage and is 6-5/8" to @ 7" in diameter depending where the measurement is taken.  It is 1-1/4" tall, so is really quite shallow.

Made of maple, this little bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks.  There is some discoloration on the interior as can be seen in the picture due to the foods it held. Excellent original surface in the best Soldier Blue paint . . . nice and dry, just the way we like it.
