Full Length Water Color Portrait of a Young Woman This is perhaps one of the nicest portrait presentations that we have had the pleasure to present. It is elegant in its simplicity and extremely well done. The attention to detail is exceptional . . . She wears a blue dress with a white collar and carries a straw hat trimmed with pink flowers with green leaves. The dress is not as dark as it appears in the picture above, but more like the top picture. What really is exceptional is the way her hair is done, with the curls over her ears that show the highlights in her hair. She stands on a watercolor floor with graphite embellishments on the wall behind her. The whole is framed in a gilded oval gesso frame that remarkably is intact and suits the piece perfectly.
