Hooked Floral Mat

Presented here, a very fine early 20th century hooked rug from Vermont.  Hooked in wool and silk on burlap, the background is a "tweedy" brown color with a solid dark brown border.  It has wonderful color (a bit more mellow than shown in the picture) and the folky design is of a bouquet of flowers and what looks to be a pineapple.  It is in excellent condition and a nice small size (19" wide x 19-1/2" tall).  Wonderful for display on a table top or blanket box, or could be mounted and hung.  Buyer's choice.
