Pair English Brass Candlesticks

Fine Pair of heavy brass Candlesticks with threaded octagonal base.  They stand an imposing 11 5/8" tall and make a wonderful appearance.  Note the swelling on the baluster is inverted, giving a "teardrop" effect.  They are much more refined than others of the Classical Period, which out of necessity tended to be larger in feeling because of the massiveness of the furniture of that period.
