Native American Basket - Oneida, C. 1800-20  A divided rectangular painted basket with a central wooden handle in five colors: red, blue, orange, yellow and green with a strawberry motif. Upstate New York. Circa 1800-20. From Albany/Syracuse area. Fill in with color and multi-color is Iroquois influence while divided interior would indicate a specific use not commonly seen.
