Silhouette of a Gentleman

Presented here, a silhouette of a Gentleman, hollow cut in both head and shoulder with lapels and vest inked in.  The little watercolor detail on top is an expecially nice addition. Upon examining it out of the frame I found a scrap of material and a scrap of paper written to someone that said if this person does not come to visit them it is doubtful that they will see them anytime soon as his wife (Sybel) is not disposed to travel as she likes babies!

The condition of the silhoutte is very fine with no apologies. The camera is picking up a lot of yellow in the background which is not there.  The background is an evenly colored ivory shade.  The silhouette is nicely framed in a walnut frame with old bubbly glass.  All in all a very nice presentation.  Size is 2-7/8 x 3-3/4" (sight) and add another 1/2" all around for the frame.
