Trammel Oil Lamp

Presented here, a very fine 4 spout hanging oil lamp with fancy twisted wick pick.  All pieces are hand wrought iron including the hanging trammel which is rarely a fixed part of a lighting device.  Fully extended the device is 19" long, ratcheting down to 14-1/2". The wick pick and chain is another 9-1/2" long. A beautiful piece of early lighting, circa 17th century.  A great find!
