Round Heart  Trivet with Hearts

Very Fine Hand Wrought Iron Four Heart Trivet with 3 forge-fastened penny feet.  All interior edges of the trivet are champfered.  The 4 hearts and detailing suggest this may have been a wedding gift from the smith to his new wife.  This would been used on the table top, not in fireplace cooking.  In any event an exceptional find and a beautiful piece of hand wrought iron! 10-1/" diameter and 2-1/4" high, circa early 1800's.
