Hand Wrought Chopper

Presented here, another fabulous Hand Wrought Chopper from our collection.  This one has a beautiful Cherry handle with faceted corners and turned center post.  We've never seen this form before and doubt we ever will again.  It has a sculptural quality about it.  It is Folk Art - a utilitarian object elevated to art through the imagination and skill of the craftsman who made it. It is of heroic proportions, 11.5 inches long and 6 inches wide.
