Treen Work Bowl

Treen Work or Utility Bowl.  It still retains its original Red Paint paint on the exterior which shows wear in all the right places . . . notably the rim and the bottom.  Beehive Turned,  Great Patina and Nice Small Size. A delicate, thin walled, lipped and footed bowl displaying strong tooling and best surface. It is 4.25"high and has shrunk slightly out of round measuring 11.75 inches in diameter to 11.5 inches depending on where the measurement is taken. (Sort of reminds me of a potato chip). The condition is excellent with no cracks or losses . . .  Actually in exceptional condition for a 200 + year old bowl!  A true survivor to grace your country cupboard or table. New England, Circa 1780-1820.
