Collection of Stone Fruit in a Blue Painted Wooden Bowl
A wonderful collection of Stone Fruit Presented here in a blue painted bowl. There are 27 pieces of fruit and most all are in exceptional condition with a few pieces having minor imperfections with a couple of rubs here and there . . . nothing of any note. These are some of nicest I've seen and I've collected Stone Fruit for years. Worthy of mention is the fact that for the most part these are not the stone fruit one usually encounters . . . no apples, oranges or lemons ( I have those too, but probably so do you) and at least four pears of different varieties from Bosc to Bartlett. There are three peanuts in the shell, a Walnut, Artichoke (?), and even a half orange to name a few. The only piece with damage worth mentioning is the banana whose top is missing (they usually are). Collected piece by piece and now offered in a lifetime collection. The fun thing here is to add more pieces as you find them but be careful or you won't be able to lift the bowl!
