Staffordshire Child's Mug
Rare early English Staffordshire Child's Mug depicting the alphabet in hand signs. Would have been used as a teaching tool for learning sign language . . . a limited production item. Beautifully potted with a lovely foliate handle. Overall condition is excellent and the only thing worth mentioning is a bit of an "oops" in the transfer, as shown above in two of the panels . . .
