19th C. Table Top or "Valuables" Box

Circa 1820-40 table top box  in the always desirable original robin's egg blue paint. The box has a nice dry surface, just the way we like it.  Square nail and dovetailed construction; lid with molded edges retains original hinges. There once was a small till for storage inside the box but it has since "gone missing".
The box is signed on the interior, Geo. G. Paige, presumably the owner.  While a bit larger than other "valuables" boxes, this could also display nicely sitting on the floor.
Size is 25 inches long by 13 inches deep by 11 inches high.
