Tabletop Desk in Blue Paint Wonderful Tabletop Slant Lid, Lift Top Desk in the best Robin's Egg Blue Paint . . . Hand cut screws on the hinges, two of which have been replaced with later screws. Made of pine with square nailed construction and an excellent dry blue surface. Actually it is more like blue/green because of the oxidation. The digital camera plays tricks when photographing painted surfaces as you probably know as it picks up more depth of color (and other colors) than the naked eye. The desk is 16-1/2" long x 18" deep x 8-1/4" hig slanting down to 4" at the front. The flat part of the desk at the back is 8-1/3" deep which is very handy as something can be placed on the top without disturbing the writing surface and still allowing the slant lid to be raised. The paint shows some expected wear, especially on the front edge of the lid but is in overall very fine condition.
