Ivory Miniature

Presented here, a very fine, early miniature portrait on ivory of a young woman. It is mounted into an oval ivory frame that nicely compliments the picture. The detail on the painting is very finely done, emphasizing the tucks on the front of her dress, the transparency of her head scarf, and the red patterned drapery over her left shoulder.  Size, including the frame is 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"
