Hand Wrought Iron Spiral Coil Candle Holder

Hand Wrought Iron Spiral Coil Candle Holder with Drip Saucer mounted on 3 legs.  Iron coil serves as handle at top end and fastener for drip pan and legs at the other end.  Circa: early 1700s'.  From an old vermont homestead.  After a European design, this was a design that was relatively easy for an accomplished blacksmith.  Today they are Rare.  This example is quite detailed . . . almost "fancy".  6-1-2" high.
